It's important to take care of your 2019 Audi A6. Of course, you probably already knew that, as you tackle the roads in Freehold. As the owner of a premium machine like the A6, it deserves special attention and care from the Audi Freehold service technicians so you can safely travel in Monroe Township and Jackson.

Audi A6 Maintenance Schedule image 1We're here to provide all the necessary routine maintenance for your car. The Audi A6 maintenance schedule is the best thing to follow as the miles begin to add up. Let's take a closer look at some of the key maintenance intervals and what needs to be done.

10,000 Miles

First up is the 10,000-mile checkup. This is the initial look our Audi technicians will take at your A6. We'll check the brake system, looking for any damage or leaks, along with brake pad thickness and the brake fluid level. Typically, brake pads can last between 30,000-50,000 miles, but we'll let you know if they need to be changed.

We'll also change the engine oil at this point, and replace the oil filter while looking for any potential leaks.

This is also the time to check:

  • Tires and spare wheels: Check for wear, tire rotation, adjust tire pressure, reset Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
  • Windshield washer and headlight washing system: Check fluids, add if needed
  • Wiper blades: Replace if necessary

20,000 Miles

Audi A6 Maintenance Schedule image 2These services need to be performed after driving 20,000 miles or two years. Thereafter, take care of these every 20,000 miles or two years.

  • Automatic transmission and final drive: Check for leaks
  • Battery: Look for corrosion
  • Cooling system: Check coolant level, add coolant if necessary
  • Drive shafts: Check boots
  • Dust and pollen filter: Replace
  • Exhaust system: Check for damage and leaks
  • Front lighting: Visually inspect parking lights, low beams, high beams, fog lights, blinkers, and hazard lights
  • Rear lighting: Check brake lights, tail lights, back-up lights, rear fog lights, license plate lights
  • Sunroof system: Check to ensure it opens and closes

40,000 Miles

The brake discs will be checked at this point, to ensure their thickness. Standard maintenance will also include a battery test, dust and pollen filter replacement, exhaust system check, and road test. We'll take your A6 out on the road to get a feel for how it's handling, and check the clutch, transmission, steering, and wheels.

80,000 Miles

When you've reached the 80,000-mile mark, the ribbed V-belt will be looked at, as we check the condition of the entire belt. The compressor drive of the belt was replaced at 60,000 miles.

We'll take care of any standard maintenance needed at this point, too.
